Dr. Torsten Kreindl

Dr. Torsten Kreindl is the Managing Partner of Deutsche Invest Technology (DIT). He has significant experience in building, running, investing in and supervising international organizations at both start-up, growth and multi-billion market cap stage. He is comfortable with both the rough imperfection of a new venture and the leadership and governance requirements of large public companies – by knowing both worlds well he acts as a successful bridge maker for his entrepreneurs.
Previously, Torsten served as General Partner in two venture funds, respectively in a transatlantic role. He was the CEO of Deutsche Telekom Broadband Cable, then the world´s largest cable business, which he turned around, digitized and grew from 13 to 19.6 million customer homes. He was a member of the German management team of Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc., a director on the board of Swisscom AG for 13 years and built and ran a new business unit at W.L. Gore & Associates Inc. He is a director on the board of Hays Plc.
Torsten successfully invested in companies like Quantenna Communications (QTNA), Ikanos Communications (IKAN), SiTime Corporation (MegaChips Corporation; Tokyo Stock Exchange 6875), BSquare Corporation (BSQR), Statista (Ströer; SAX), Loudeye (LOUD; Nokia), mySimon (CNET), EMware (Panasonic Corporation), Digital Fountain (Qualcomm), Adconion Media Group (Amobee/Singtel) and MisterSpex.
Torsten is an Austrian citizen and an industrial engineer by education (both M.Sc. and Ph.D. at Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria).
